absolute sovereignty.

No matter what happens, God's purpose is always and always will be fulfilled. No disaster or anyone or anything on earth or in the universe is able to obstruct the will of God. Everything depends on God because He is who He is. It is God who salvation rests upon. It is on God which everything rests upon because He is the one who has mercy. There's no arguing against that. Every single situation is purposed to reveal His righteousness that His power might be shown and that His name might be proclaimed in all the earth, just like when God hardened Pharaoh's heart in Exodus, or when God hardened the hearts of the Israelites so that salvation might be extended to the rest of the world... From the very beginning, God purposed salvation to be for all peoples.

Romans 1:17 [For in it (the gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."]

This is seriously so amazing. Praise God. God is so good. God is sovereign.

Haha, the phrase, "God is sovereign" is often used when people are trying to comfort brother or a sister when they go through trials, but there's so much more to that. Not that we shouldn't say it in those times because it is indeed very true and comforting, but God's sovereignty should be proclaimed every single day, in every single situation, and especially in our lives.

Psalm 93
[The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty;
the LORD is robed; he has put on strength as his belt.
Yes, the world is established;
it shall never be moved.
Your throne is established from of old;
you are from everlasting.
The floods have lifted up, O LORD,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their roaring.
Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
the LORD on high is mighty!
Your decrees are very trustworthy;
holiness befits your house,
O LORD, forevermore.]
