God, we were truly, TRULY made for You. Our souls do not rest until we find satisfaction in You. Even in the satisfaction of our stomachs, it is a divine satisfaction that comes from You, and it is a reminder that our ultimate satisfaction of the hunger of our souls is You. You've fashioned us in that our internal compasses point to You. Strip away our suppression of truth so that our hearts may finally find rest in You. Help us to see all that is evident of Your existence, and remove all the sin that confuses our souls from truly knowing You.

ReplyDeletei'd say all of romans 8 [: otherwise ppl take "suffering" in vs 18 out of context, i know i did until i studied it! romans 8 is like a major major gem in the bible!
